October 16th, officially designated as World Food Day by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, has just past – HOWEVER, World Food Day Events span the month of October! There are still a number of exciting events to check out, both in the community and on campus:
Wednesday, October 19 World Food Day at Regis College 2:30-4:30pm Convivium and Conversation: a celebratory afternoon of giving thanks for food and giving mind to structures of hunger and harm in modern agri-business. Wednesday October 19th Oxfam U of T World Food Day noon-2pm A food fair in the Cumberland Room at the Centre of International Experience, while Hot Yam serves up their delicious $4 vegan lunch across the hall.
