Dig In! Campus Agriculture Presents…
What You Need to Know to Grow! Session 1: How to Start a Food Garden
Tuesday, January 17, 2011 2:00 – 4:00pm South Dining Room, Hart House
This is the first of three sessions in our What You Need to Know to Grow winter event series. Sure it’s cold outside, the trees are bare and the grass is brown…
But what better way to beat the winter blues than to get excited about gardening?! Really though, seed starting can begin as early as February so there’s no time to waste! Let’s get growing!
Join us as we inform and entertain you with the hows, whens, whats and wheres of food gardening. Hear about how a number of the campus gardens got up and running and finish off by learning about the exciting world of community gardening – what it means, how to get involved and even how to go about starting one of your own!
We hope to see you there. Please RSVP to campusagriculture@gmail.com
Invite your friends on Facebook
…And look! We will continue to brighten your winter in the months to come:
