Dig In! had a table at Seedy Sunday this past weekend – did you find us? With thousands of attendees and a cornucopia of organizations represented, Seedy Saturdays/Seedy Sundays are a fantastic opportunity to plug into Toronto’s growing gardening scene. Events in North York and Scarborough will be happening in March; more info here.

We scored a bunch of fantastic seeds for our Dig In! demonstration gardens around campus, including: leeks, carrots, tomatoes, beets, basil, lettuce mix, chard, and zucchini.

Super-cool plant of the day: Strawberry Spinach, a native plant with edible leaves and delicious berry-like flowers. These seeds sold out quick at the Cottage Gardener booth, but we managed to get the last packet. So excited!
