UofT Food and Beverage Services is putting together a multi-stakeholder organizing committee to help plan, establish, and manage our campus farmers’ market, starting this spring. The responsibilities of the committee will be:
– To invite and recruit farmers and vendors to the market – To oversee the applications submitted by farmers and vendors – To ensure that the weekly market takes place in compliance with the Farmers’ Market policy – To provide the Director of Food Services with feedback about the market – To promote the market in the University and surrounding areas – To help grow the weekly market – To work with farmers and vendors to adopt University of Toronto’s sustainable policies and the policies of Food Services, St. George campus.
