Dig In! Campus Agriculture is looking for compost coordinators to help with running an efficient and productive compost on campus, updating the Food Security Project Coordinator, educating the community and campus about composting, working with Garden Coordinators and other campus groups to to manage the compost and implementing programming, networking with other composting groups in the city, and enjoying the bounty of our food gardens for the growing season!
Details and benefits:
About 2 hours of coordination a week
Start date: June (flexible based on schedule & availability)
End date: End of October (flexible based on schedule & availability)
Learn about urban gardening, sustainable agriculture, waste reduction, composting, soil fertility and self-sufficiency

Responsibilities:
commit 2 hours per week to coordination
turn soil in compost bins and add new compostables
network with groups and food services on campus to increase organic matter that goes into the compost
